Terms of Service

1. What the Service does

PromptRanking sends questions to AI assistants (currently ChatGPT, Gemini and Perplexity) through their official APIs with web search enabled, analyzes whether your brand is mentioned, and generates content suggestions.

The Service is a diagnostic and analysis tool. AI answers change over time and between runs. We do not guarantee any ranking, mention or placement in any AI assistant or search engine, and results are not a promise of future performance.

2. Accounts

You must provide accurate information and keep your login secure. You are responsible for activity under your account. You must be at least 16 years old, or the age of digital consent in your country, to use the Service.

If you use the Service on behalf of a company, you confirm you are authorized to bind that company to these Terms.

3. Plans, credits and billing

Paid plans are subscriptions billed monthly or yearly in advance through our payment provider, Whop. Prices are shown on the pricing page and may include taxes where applicable.

Each plan, including the free plan, includes a monthly credit allowance. Credits are the usage allowance of your plan, not a separately sold product or stored value — credits cannot be bought on their own. One credit is one AI answer checked; a content package costs 10 credits.

Credits can be used only within the Service, by the account they were given to. They cannot be transferred, sold or gifted to anyone else, and they cannot be exchanged for or refunded as cash. Payments are refunded only as described in the Refund Policy or as required by law.

At the start of each monthly cycle (each monthly renewal payment; for yearly and free plans, the 1st of each month) your credits are reset to your plan's monthly allowance. Unused credits do not roll over. When you switch plans, credits are reset to the new plan's allowance; when a paid plan ends, your account moves to the free plan and any credits above the free plan's allowance are removed.

Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel at any time from the billing page or the Whop order page; access continues until the end of the paid period. Refunds are described in the Refund Policy.

We may change prices with at least 30 days' notice. Changes apply from your next billing period.

4. Acceptable use

You may not: use the Service to track or generate content for illegal products or services; attempt to overload, reverse-engineer or bypass limits of the Service; resell raw access without our written permission; use free tools in an automated way to circumvent daily limits; or use the Service to infringe others' rights.

We may suspend accounts that break these rules or that put the Service or other users at risk.

5. Your content and generated content

You keep ownership of the brand information and prompts you provide. You give us permission to process them to operate the Service.

Content packages are generated by AI models. You are responsible for reviewing them for accuracy and legal compliance before publishing. To the extent we have any rights in generated content, we assign them to you.

6. Third-party services

The Service relies on third-party providers (such as AI model providers, hosting and payments). Their availability and outputs are outside our control. Product names such as ChatGPT, Gemini and Perplexity belong to their owners; PromptRanking is not affiliated with or endorsed by them.

7. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all implied warranties, including fitness for a particular purpose.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost profits or lost data. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law, including consumer protection rights.

8. Termination

You can stop using the Service and ask us to delete your account at any time by emailing us. We may suspend or end access if you seriously breach these Terms. Sections that by their nature should survive (such as liability limits) survive termination.

9. Changes and governing law

We may update these Terms. For material changes we will notify you by email or in the Service at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use after that means you accept the updated Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protection laws of your country of residence. The English version prevails over translations.
